Camille Nix brings over two decades of experience in education to her role as a college coach, where she is dedicated to guiding students through a personalized and empowering admissions journey. With a unique background as a high school English teacher, school counselor, and college counselor, Camille has a 360-degree view of the process, enabling her to support families at every turn. Her goal is to tame the overwhelming nature of college admissions, helping students find momentum and confidence rather than anxiety.


Camille thrives on building deep relationships with her students, drawing on her English teaching roots to bring a creative touch to the application process. She specializes in helping students uncover their authentic voices and turn their life experiences into compelling essays and resumes. Her coaching style is energetic and encouraging; she focuses on breaking the complex admissions "beast" into manageable steps, ensuring students feel capable and supported. By combining this personal connection with data-informed insights from her extensive network of college admissions representatives, Camille ensures that every student builds a college list where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.


Camille believes that every student deserves a cheerleader, and she serves as a steadfast advocate throughout the process, celebrating each success along the way. She is committed to ensuring that a student’s major and college choice reflect their genuine desires, leading to happy, successful outcomes.


Camille holds an M.Ed. in School Counseling from Lamar University and a B.A. in English from The University of Texas at Austin. She spent over a decade in the classroom before transitioning to counseling, giving her a deep appreciation for student growth. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, needlepointing, traveling, and spending time with her family. A die-hard Longhorn, Camille and her husband rarely miss a UT football game.
