Our Difference

We know you have heard that the college admissions process is stressful (and it is). It’s hard to know where to start and how to find reliable information.

We have a unique approach at College MatchPoint. It all begins and ends with our ultimate goal: for our students to thrive in their selected college. Yes, this means we want them to love it—academically and socially. We also make sure that it fits within your family’s budget.

College MatchPoint provides a framework that reduces the stress in this process. Our model has been successful with national merit scholars, as well as students with learning differences.

“Lisa and the College MatchPoint staff were invaluable to our family during our three children’s college admissions processes. From interviewing the children about their interests and passions, to helping to identify “best fit” schools and creating manageable plans for completing essays and applications, College MatchPoint’s program was phenomenal. It was incredibly helpful, and certainly less stressful on our whole family, for the children to participate in a process that held them accountable for work production while being expertly assisted and guided every step of the way. Additionally, College MatchPoint’s knowledge of the ever-evolving college admissions landscape is exceptional as they regularly attend seminars conducted by college admissions counselors to stay on top of current trends in and developments to the process. One of our children expressed our family’s love for College MatchPoint best when she said, “I can’t imagine what I would have done without them!”

And each of us shares a common goal: for your student to thrive in their selected college. We meet, strategize, and ponder how to make your student shine. Meet the team.

“College MatchPoint was able to work with my son in ways we parents cannot. They were able to keep our son engaged in the process, giving guidance on realistic options. Their help with application timelines and essays was invaluable.”

WORKING MEETINGS

We get work done. Our virtual student sessions are working meetings. Each session has a structure, plan, and length that we individualize to your student. When students log off their meeting, they feel a sense of accomplishment, confident that they are one step closer to completing their college admissions process.

“With their experience and expertise, College MatchPoint took a process that was completely overwhelming and made it much easier to understand and complete. The team helped to refine applications and essays to make sure all were aligned and the best that they could be. I am sure this was instrumental in helping my daughter receive an acceptance to every school she applied to. She will be attending University of Texas, McCombs School of Business. We could not have done it without them!”
