Amanda graduated from Smith College, where she was a three-sport athlete in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. After Smith, she initially took her lacrosse playing experience to England, and then began to teach and counsel students in far-flung parts of the globe, helping hundreds prepare applications to colleges and universities in the US, UK, Canada, and beyond.

Drawing on over two decades of experience as a Director of College Counseling at independent schools, she ensures students feel known, appreciated, and supported throughout their college search and application journey. Getting to know her students is Amanda's favorite part of the job .Her relaxed yet laser-focused approach aims to keep the process as low-stress as possible. Beyond the admissions results, working with Amanda is a pressure relief valve for both the student and the family.

Amanda’s depth of experience is an asset. She has helped hundreds of students apply to colleges and universities throughout the country, and, significantly, she has strong contacts and deep knowledge about a wide range of colleges and universities. Her deep understanding and passion for getting to know colleges intimately allows her to help students craft authentic and targeted applications suited to each university, whether an Ivy League institution or state flagship campus, Regardless of whether students are applying to highly selective institutions or state schools, Amanda's goal is for her clients to have excellent choices at the end of the process.

Now living in the wilds of Western New York, Amanda.  When not driving her children to various activities, she trains for triathlons and her first powerlifting competition in her free time. Her trusty Felt triathlon bike has traveled with her on races worldwide since she bought it 14 years ago in Singapore.
